Moving!!!
I've been feeling the baby move for about two weeks now. He never stops moving just like his cousin, baby OZ. Tonight after eating my nightly ice cream, he was in a kicking frenzy. I asked Ben to come over and see if he could feel it. The baby made 2-3 little nudges that Ben couldn't feel, then made one big kick right at Ben's hand which sent his hand ripping off my belly with the biggest smile of disbelief streaming across his face. It's one of the most amazing feelings, I can't get enough of it!

i always loved feeling them wriggle in my belly. it was especially cool when i was pregnant with liam and the older ones would lift my shirt then poke and prod my belly to "wake him up" so they could watch and feel him roll around in there.

That is probably my favorite thing about being prego! I LOVE feeling the babies move! It is so exciting when the dads can feel them too! How fun for Ben! That little boy is SO lucky to have you two!!!
I can TOTALLY see that happening and seeing Ben's excitement! What a journey you're on! So exciting.
Knowing there's a life growing inside you can be a bit surreal at times. It can be so personal even when you want to share it with your spouse. But you just want to, don't you? It is so weird that they really can't be a part of it.
I really have been out of the blog world for a while....Congratulations, such wonderful news. The "quickening" as my doc called it was my favorite time of pregnancy, like a "hello mum, I'm here" kind of message that you are the first to get. Love to you both ....A/di

I loved to start feeling her move. It was like a little relationship then. Also, good call on the nightly ice cream. And glad he likes it too...

I use to lie very, very, very still on the bed face down at about 8 week on and wait for the flutter like butterfly wings and WOW! bonding and conversation began. The sanctaty of life goes on. Love to all
